Rates
Virtual Assistant Lauren charges based on project size, turnaround time needed, and my availability. My time is valuable, just like yours; so I believe that any rates I quote are fair.
The rates Virtual Assistant Lauren charges per hour are between $15-$25.
This is based on the reasoning that if you have a Virtual Assistant as opposed to an "in-office" assistant, you won't have to pay for an extra workstation, fringe benefits, yearly bonuses; and you won't have to worry about filing taxes for a Virtual Assistant, since this is Independent Contractor work.
Also, unlike most VAs, Virtual Assistant Lauren doesn't charge extra to do weekend work!
Hourly rates that you are started at may raise after a 6 month period depending on how much you are using the services of Virtual Assistant Lauren.
Payments: Payments are accepted via Money Order or PayPal*. Payments are expected on the the 1st and 15th of each month (invoiced to you on the last day and 14th - this means the invoice will be sent to you the day before payment is due). Please let Virtual Assistant Lauren know if you need different arrangements, and we can possibly work something out.
-For large projects or rush projects, there may be a deposit required for services at the beginning of the project
-Any expenses Virtual Assistant Lauren incurs for you, such as stamps, paper, labels, etc will also be included on the following invoice.
-Travel time to and from the post office, should Virtual Assistant Lauren be doing a mass mailing, will also be billable (.585 cents per mile).
